FORAGE bow ties are hand crafted by “Something’s Hiding in Here” in Philadelphia, PA.

Each collection is made in limited numbers using fabric remnants, vintage deadstock or extra special finds. Our bow ties must be hand tied but don’t worry, practice makes perfect. They’re adjustable in length, featuring discrete hardware fitting neck sizes 14-18. Your new bow tie will be shipped within two weeks, in a hand printed, vintage style mason box with metal loop closures and kraft shred.

About Forage Bow Ties:

We’re Shauna & Stephen a.k.a. “Something’s Hiding in Here”.

We’ve been making all sorts of stuff as long as we can remember. These days you can find us sewing bow ties around the clock at our studio located in an old Philadelphia tire factory. Then we’re not burning through the motor on our sewing machine, we’re busy building things in our wood shop or printing on our C&P letterpress.

Why bow ties? As Stephen likes to say “They’re the most practical form of neckwear”. They don’t interfere with various working methods like a dangerous, dangling neck tie. It was out of necessity for safe neck accessorizing that we created our own collection of bow ties. We call them FORAGE because gathering the perfect fabric is always quite the hunt.
